What is the difference between In-Vitro Fertilization and test tube baby?
There is no difference between IVF and test tube baby. The term test tube baby was used during the earlier years while referring to IVF. The term test tube baby came into existence due to the general idea that an embryo is formed in a test tube instead of in the woman’s fallopian tube.
The term in-vitro is a process when eggs and sperms are fertilized in a petri dish (in-vitro) meaning within the glass culture dish.
